Connected Science Learning is an online journal that highlights STEM education experiences that bridge the gap between in-school and out-of-school settings. It features articles about highly effective programs and shares research that connects preK–12 STEM learning in schools and out-of-school settings, specifically highlighting effective mechanisms for collaboration.
In addition to being a valued resource for a broad range of STEM education professionals, this journal is useful to policy makers, corporations, foundations, and others seeking to identify, advance, and invest in STEM education.
The editors of Connected Science Learning encourage you to submit a manuscript on any topic related to bridging in-school and out-of-school STEM learning. Access the Call for Contributions and Submission Guidelines below for more details.
The journal is a joint initiative of the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA). Funding to pilot and evaluate the effectiveness and demand for the first two issues is provided through a National Science Foundation (NSF) EAGER award (DRL-1420262).
