Thank you for your interest in joining us for the ASTC 2023 Annual Conference. Registration is now open!

In addition to covering the costs for meeting rooms, audiovisual, food and beverage, travel for plenary speakers, and more, your registration also enables ASTC to support and serve our community in other ways, including advocating on behalf of our field, hosting ongoing conversations to connect with and learn from colleagues, offering professional development opportunities throughout the year, and more. We also invite you to consider adding a voluntary donation to your registration, which will help make the conference available to those less able to pay.

Full conference registration includes:

  • Access to all Keynote and Plenary sessions
  • Access to all Concurrent, Lightning, and Poster sessions
  • Access to the Exhibit Hall during open hours
  • Access to networking experiences
  • Included meals, snacks, and receptions throughout the conference

Optional Events

In addition to the main conference registration, you will have the opportunity to sign-up for optional events that may require additional registration and payment, including Preconference Experiences and the host party at Discovery Place. Details will be part of the registration process.

We will also ask as part of the registration process about your expected participation in plenary sessions, meal functions, and other events that are included in your conference registration. This is to help us to get an accurate count of how many people to expect so the room can be set appropriately.

Single Day Registration

ASTC offers an opportunity for single-day registration for those who are unable to participate in the full conference at a rate of $260.

Single day registrations permit access to conference sessions, meals, and events for the selected day only. If you would like to attend for more than one day, you will be charged for a full conference registration; multiple single-day registrations are not available.

Preconference ASTC Intensives and the party are available for purchase outside of your paid single day registration date.

Student Registration

Full-time students are welcome to register for the conference at a discounted rate of $360. A valid student ID and/or proof of enrollment is required prior to registration.

Presenter Registration

ASTC greatly appreciates the time and commitment of all presenters. In order to ensure that all contributors are fully integrated into the conference and the larger ASTC community, we expect session leaders, presenters, poster leaders, facilitators, and others to register for the conference at the normal rate and to participate in as much of the conference as possible. In addition, presenters are responsible for any fees associated with the session/workshop in which they present.

Exhibitor Registration

All exhibitors must submit an individual registration for the conference, whether as part of the complimentary registration that comes with the booth or an additional registration. Each 10′ x 10′ exhibit booth includes two complimentary, full-conference registrations, and additional registrations can be purchased separately.

In addition to those bundled with the exhibit booth, additional registrations for exhibitors are available at $630 each.

Group Discounts

ASTC is again offering the opportunity for group registration, offering a discount for more than five people from the same member organization. The more individuals from your organization who register, the more you will save.

Once five or more individuals (including full-time and part-time staff members, interns, volunteers, board, and trustee members) from a Member Organization register at the Early Bird, Advance, or Regular rates for the full conference, additional registrants associated with that organization will receive an automatic five percent discount on the applicable registration fee.

Please note that all registrations do not have to be done at the same time in order to receive this automatic discount.

Financial Support

ASTC endeavors to make the conference as accessible as possible, including to those with limited financial resources. We will be offering several opportunities to receive financial support to participate in ASTC 2023, including the Todd Happer Memorial Scholarship and the Lee Kimche McGrath Worldwide Fellowship. Additional information about submitting an application for financial support will be available shortly.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be made in writing to Cancellations received on or before August 7, 2023, are entitled to a full refund of registration and event fees. Cancellations received August 8–September 11 will be subject to a $200 cancellation processing fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations (to include Preconference Intensives) after September 11. Cancelled registrations cannot be credited to a future conference. 

Traveling from outside of the United States

If you are traveling from outside of the United States and require a visa, ASTC encourages you to begin the application process as soon as possible as it make take several months.

You will be able to request a letter of invitation as part of the registration process, so we encourage you to register early.
